Documentation of the Basilica A and the Atrium with its Fountain- Nympheum in Philippi (UNESCO), Kavala

This documentation  was produced by a combination of direct and indirect high-precision recording methods, including:

3D laser scanning for detailed spatial geometry,

Photogrammetry for capturing textures and surfaces with drone and digital camera

on-site surveying for accurate positioning and adjustment.

The drawings were produced with a high level of precision, covering plans, sections, and elevations of the complex and of each individual architectural fragment.

With over 15 years of experience in  3D laser scanning and digital photogrammetry and over half a century of the documentation of historic structures, our practice is grounded in a deep understanding of historical construction, architectural typologies, and restoration methodology essential for properly interpreting and recording scattered or displaced architectural elements in archaeology.
